Firstly, if you're on this page then a massive congratulations to you both. Secondly, having been through the process recently myself, I know arranging a wedding involves a lot of moving parts; I'll aim to keep this as clear and transparent as possible.

There are three different levels of film to choose from as detailed below. No matter what level you choose, I will do everything I can to deliver a film you can be proud of. You can expect:

EXPENSES
One of the most frustrating aspects of our wedding I found was hidden costs, so when I decided to set up MP Films I wanted to be completely transparent on this front. In addition to the above, the following expenses will be charged.
Fuel
Fuel will be charged at 20p per mile. To give you a real world example, if your wedding venue was a 50 mile round trip the fuel expense would be £10.00.
Sustenance
It is common place for you to add an additional head to your catering budget for suppliers. However in the majority of instances it is more cost effective for you if I simply sort myself out. As such, for a half-day wedding an additional expense of £10.00 will be charged and for a full-day wedding it will be £18.00.
Accommodation
This is an absolute last resort. I have family and friends spread across most of the UK meaning the majority of locations are accessible without the need for accommodation. In the unlikely event that accommodation is required I will select a low cost option within one hours drive of the venue.

Given the amount of time and preparation that goes into your wedding day, it's somewhat rude of the day to go by so quickly. So savouring as many moments as you can with each other and your loved ones is where your focus should lie; and it's exactly where my focus will be too. I won't interfere, I won't drag you away; when you look back at your wedding film I can guarantee the moments you will love the most are the interactions with friends and family that you would have otherwise forgotten. Now if you would like to sneak away to a picturesque spot then we can absolutely do that, but for the rest of the time I will be in the background capturing the organic moments you will treasure forever.
Faq's
We're concerned that you don't have the biggest portfolio, can you reassure us?
That is a totally valid concern and I'll be totally transparent: I am relatively new to wedding videography. However, what I'm not new to is videography and photography. I was given my first video camera around the age of 10 and I have A-levels in photography and media. These hobbies have been maintained throughout my adult life. I recently made the decision to step away from the corporate world to pursue videography as a career, which with a young family to support means it's kinda important for it to work. So when I tell you I will work harder than anyone to give you a film you will love, you can trust me.
How much is the deposit?
50% of the total fee.
When is the final amount due?
No later than seven days before the big day.
What is an engagement film and what is involved?
If your Wedding Film documents your day, your Engagement Film is designed to document your journey. As for what's involved; we'll spend the better part of a day together before the wedding, we'll record both joint and separate "interviews", we'll visit two or three significant locations to your relationship, we'll tell your story. It's also important to say, we can tailor the content of this film to give you exactly what you want; I appreciate not everyone is comfortable sitting in front of a camera.
What time do you arrive?
As early as I can. By the time you start getting ready I want to have all my establishing / scenic shots sorted so I can spend the rest of the day focusing on the most important part: you.
When will you leave?
Only once I am fully satisfied I have all the shots I need. For half day coverage I'll be around for at least an hour after the ceremony, for full day coverage everyone will be on the dancefloor before I head off.
Is each level set in stone or can adjustments be made based on our preference?
My focus is on providing you with a film you love, without compromise. We can tailor your package to suit your needs; as part of our initial discussion I will provide you with an options list so you can add anything you like to your package, whether you're going for Level 1 or Level 3.
